Operational for nine years, incident-free for nine years!

On September 1, 2020, Gate terminal (Gasunie / Vopak) celebrated two important milestones: nine years of successful operations and nine years incident-free.

We have grown from an import terminal for LNG to an internationally leading LNG hub with a wide range of services. Every day our dedicated employees pay special attention to provide optimal safety and service to our customers.

From the very beginning, a safe working environment has been given the highest priority at Gate. Gate has an open safety culture meaning we provide openness in reports and space for initiatives that will make our terminal even more reliable and safe. This has proven to be effective: not a single lost-time incident in nine years.

We have achieved this together at Gate through team spirit and by adapting in a timely manner to changing circumstances, such as now with the coronavirus. We are proud of this achievement and our employees who make this happen! Now, on to the ten-year milestone!
