Gate terminal takes investment decision for small increase of send-out capacity

Over the last couple of years Gate terminal B.V., a joint venture of Vopak and Gasunie, has seen periods of very high utilisation as illustrated by a record regasification of around 1.1 BCM during the last month of May.

Gate terminal has now received enough firm market interest to decide to invest in a capacity increase of 0.5 BCM per annum to a total of 12.5 BCM per annum. The additional send-out capacity is planned to become available as of 1 October 2024.
