Gate terminal Management Team change

On behalf of shareholders Gasunie and Vopak, Gate terminal is pleased to announce that Wim Groenendijk has been appointed as Managing Director of Gate terminal, starting 21 November 2018.
Wim Groenendijk has significant experience in the energy sector, particularly in relation to LNG and gas infrastructure. He worked at Shell for seventeen years, after which he held various management positions at Nederlandse Gasunie since 2007. He was recently Director International Business at NV Nederlandse Gasunie as well as Managing Director of daughter company Gasunie Engineering BV. He is also Chair of Gas LNG Europe (GLE), an association of European LNG terminal operators.
Groenendijk succeeds Rolf Brouwer, who will continue to work within the sector. Brouwer will be continuing his career as Managing Director of German LNG Terminal GmbH in Hamburg, a joint venture between Gasunie LNG Holding, Oiltanking GmbH and Vopak LNG Holding. Brouwer held various management positions at Vopak since 2001 and managed the Gate terminal from 2015.
