An overview of Gate’s latest news.
Gate terminal is exploring market demand through a non-binding call for expression of interest in small scale ship loading services for a new to be constructed jetty (“jetty 4”).
Starting on Monday 6 May 2024 at 06:00 hours CET for a period of 72 hours, Gate terminal plans to perform scheduled maintenance. During this period, the terminal’s send-out capacity will be reduced to a maximum of around 32,000 nm3/hour, approximately 370 MWh/hour.
Gate terminal B.V, a joint venture of Vopak and Gasunie, is pleased to announce that it has selected -VINCI Construction Grands Projets - Entrepose Contracting (tank), Sener (balance of plant) and Sacyr Proyecta (owner engineering services) to execute the expansion of the terminal with a 4th LNG storage tank of 180,000 cubic meters and an additional regasification capacity of 4 BMC per year.
On 5 October 2023 the sendout out will be reduced to a minimum for a period of 8 hours.
Gate terminal and its shareholders Gasunie and Vopak, are pleased to announce that the final investment decision has been taken to expand Gate terminal’s storage and regasification capacity. The expansion consists of a new LNG storage tank of 180,000 cubic meters and additional regasification capacity of 4 BCM per year. The new capacity is already rented out under long term commercial agreements and is expected to be ready for operation by the second half of 2026.
